Anybody use transferwise to send money to Spain ?

If so, have you moved large amounts and how did you find it ?

Would appreciate any comments.

thanks very much

Use them all the time, all charges upfront and the app is easy to use. Small amounts in your bank usually the same day, large normally 1-3 days.

Used them to send over deposit for house sale rate was better then bank and it was easy enough to do, my bank in uk would only allow 25000 in a day, make sure you factor time in but it was in bank 2 days. I have now used since for bills and find its there same day. Also they have the borderless account where you get a card and put money in your chosen currency thats been so easy to make payment in euros.

I have used moneycorp and fx exchange before transfer wise i think its a lot easier and the rates are good

Hello. I use Transferwise all the time. Excellent rates and speedy enough. Better than HiFX.

All transfer companies do exactly the same. The thing you need to consider is the rate offered at the time of purchase especially if moving large amounts. 20k upwards.

Transferwise are very good but you must remember that if you transfer 50 k or more the recipient bank will charge you so only sums under 59k are accepted free

we bank with Targo and they charge for any amount to go in to account, it becomes costly with high amounts
