Hi can anyone advise me my aircon is working on cold but not hot has anyone got any ideas what is wrong with it was working perfect last winter thank you

Make sure it’s set for heat (maybe a sun) and give it 10 mins to allow to switch over (the blower should go to idle).

Has your aircon only got modes for heat and cool? If it's got modes for auto or dry, then try those as well. If they don't work, then it would appear there's a fault in the aircon itself, not the remote, and you'd need a service engineer.

on ours, without my glasses the symbols look similar, the snowflake for cold and the picture of the sun . warm look the same, once I realised this it works fantastic ,

You can sometimes clear the fault by resetting. There will be a reset button on the remote (Usually reset by pressing with a pin). This sometimes works to resets the a/c unit to provide heat. It won’t heat straight away it normally takes 10 minutes or so after the reset.
