Hi myself and my partner are very close to moving to pinar de campoverde. We are wondering if we will find it hard to get work when settled.We both. drive my partner is a builder and I will do anything but work in care at present in the UK.

Hi we live in Campoverde been here 12 years. There is lots of builders all over the Costa blanca, some good some not so good there is lots of builders from eastern Europe and do tend to be cheap so lots of competition. Iceland shop is opening next week you might get employment there, lots of bars/ restaurants possible jobs. Carer's not sure if any demand as it is private over here not health service.

Unemployment in Spain is sky high, any decent paid work will be taken by Spanish nations, and quite right.
Most expat builders go self employed mainly jobbing for other expats.
Yourself, not a lot of Bob Hope, bar work, cleaning, whatever no one else wants.
