Do any furniture removal companies have the facility to take  more than 1.5 ton in furniture and also take two labrador dogs, and two adults Merseyside to Campoverde Costa Blanca. I have spoken to a guy who could take us over using his van crew cab plus a trailer 1.5 max load. But I have a feeling we might have more than 1.5 ton. Uk house sold subject to contract. Possible dates to move August - September  covid19 depending. Thanks.

Hi, email - [email protected]    who is Ann Howell of Howells removal co, who I contacted a while back for quote. They were very competetive, use large vans(lorries) and also can offer storage to accommodate dates required. We were going to move over this year but having not sold our Uk home decided to postpone for now. I have only read good reports for them. We knew we had at least 4 ton to shift.

Good luck

Pauline

Hi robjan,

I think the main problem with what you want is that many removal companies will have insurance that covers them for the transportation of goods, but not people and animals.  Probably the only way you're going to find out for sure, is to call several companies.

We used Coles & Sons for our removals - great family-run business, lovely people.  Their quote, which was half that of the most expensive one we obtained, included up to 3 months free storage, if necessary:

Good luck!

Kind regards,

Kim

I have used and can recommend Howells removals but have no idea if they can also transport you and your pets too.  But always worth asking.
