What income would we need to live there

Taxes, food, entertainment

Could someone please give us a good average please

It would be greatly appreciated

We have been advised approx 1200 euros a month

It will really depend on what the Residency requirements are at the time you move here. At the moment it is €750 a month each but this can be reduced if you own your own home outright and/or have significant savings but post Brexit transition, worse case scenario, it could be €2,500 per month as a 3rd country national (assuming Brexit affects you).
If you qualify for residency, €1,200 a month should be perfectly adequate depending on your lifestyle choices and health.

Thanks for the reply

We are going to buy a property outright

Also will have considerable funds

But not sure what you mean with the 750 euro a month etc means

We would be living more Spanish than English

So Mediterranean diet etc.

We have been advised approx 1200 euros would be enough per month

Including all bills etc

Is this correct or a lot under

We do spend double this in Uk

Again thanks

But more info if possible

Ray

Thanks for reply

Replied to Cheryl as well

Not sure what the 750 euros a month is

We have been told 1200 euros a month should cover everyone

We are going to purchase outright

Also have considerable funds

But if possible

Cost to live here for taxes living etc

We will be living the Spanish lifestyle not eating as we do in the UK

More info would be grateful

Thanks again

Scroll down the RHS of the page until you find Jim's guides to living in Spain which have all the information you will need.
It is so difficult to guesstimate living expenses, running a small modern apartment is going to be so different from a large detached country property. If you live on an urbanization there will be community fees, you may use the air conditioning 24/7 and there will be heating costs in winter.....
The €750 per month each income into a Spanish bank account for 3 months is the basis for Residency applications. Owning a property outright, having significant savings and being covered for health costs under SIP can all reduce this monthly income requirement, Spain simply wants you to show that you will not become a burden on the state.

Everybody will be different but set your budget at any level and you will live better on it in Spain than in the UK.
