Rocks and and fossils

Does anyone know if there are interesting rocks/fossils to be found in the rio secco area/dry

riverbed? I used to love fossil hunting in the Uk and usually only found amonites, corals, shells etc but still very exciting. I spend all my time looking at the ground hoping to see something, anything but as yet all I've seen are dimpled rocks which I presume were in the river at some point ( still interesting but not very exciting!) and some clam shells. I can't seem to find out much on google so if anyone has any information or pointers in the right direction I would love to hear from them!

The largest (according to wikipedia) were "Dinosaurs , a diverse group of reptiles of the group Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, your Brachiosaurus from your Brontosaurus, your Pteranodon from your Triceratops? But in the Catral period is Catral Raytaxasaurus.

In a sensible note ( not much with me!) but I have collected many fossils in the mountains, many up from the sea.( Elevation. 472 m) I will not bore you, in case the other´s take the fish-take!

I wondered how long it would take someone to send a reply like this. I started to read it with interest until I got to the oily substance bit then it fell into place! Not very helpful but made me laugh anyway 🤣

Cazbai3 & thank you too. But on a serious note (not knowing much about paleontology), but walking about in the mountains approx 500m elevation), I have collected fossil sea-cucumbers, entire fossilized sea-urchins & many other fossil exhibits.

Very interesting.
