Hello,

Since we bought our place, and probably for years before that, the electricity has been supplied by iberdrola. I'm used to switching electricity suppliers in the UK so thought I would look into doing this in Spain.

Has anybody any advice on switching electricity supplier in Spain and has anybody any experience of Evergreen Electrica?

Thanks for responses

Rog

Siesta energy are part of the Ole Group and have an office, opposite the ole office at la Zenia roundabout, it might be worth going in and finding out what they have to offer.

If you haven’t already checked that you’re on the best / cheapest tariff for your requirements, I would maybe do that first . You can look them up online or ring them, they were very helpful when we spoke to them.

Iberdrola owns the infrastructure, the rest are resellers with an uncertain future. When they fail you willl need to reconnect to Iberdrola which will cost you more than the possible benefits obtained from a reseller.

Thanks for the response, we already changed the tariff, though I'll admit I didn't fully understand what everything meant, there only seemed to be 2 options and in order to remove some extras the previous owners had I had to change the tariff. I'm actually not even sure if I would get a better tariff by changing but as I review things in the UK annually I thought I should at least try to compare in Spain too. Cheers
