There's a lot of variability at that time of year, but according to the min/max charts I've been keeping for the last ten years, you're looking at a daytime maximum averaging around fifteen degrees, and night time minimum of five.

Because of the large variability around these figures, you need to pack fleeces as well a lightweight clothes.

Even when it's cold, it's often clear and bright, not like the UK's perpetual cloud cover.

Shorts and light shirts during the day, in the evening it gets a bit chilly so a fleece or light coat is needed, all said its still great to be here in January although some bars and restaurants may be closed for the Winter months.
