Good riddance to all of those who hate their country, we are all leavers as of tonight.

If Spain chooses to be part of the EU surely that is up-to the Spanish and in fairness it's their country.

Brits live everywhere - even in Wuhan - despite; political, human rights and animal welfare issues associated with the Chinese set-up. It should be noted that it wasn't the Chinese flying these expats home - it was the UK govt.

Accepting the Spanish way is incumbent on any residents granted temp or permanent rights to reside but unless you apply for citizenship you will for ever suckle upon the UK teat. It's an inconvenient truth that many who declare Britain bankrupt, financially, morally or intellectually have a stake in its continued success.

I am slightly more pragmatic - I love my country but will politely be asking the Spanish if I can live in theirs if I; respect their rules & pay my taxes. I doubt many apply for residency because of the political project but if they do I say that's okay - live and let live.

We live in a rules based world obey the rules and you are on the right side of the curve.

"Good riddance to all???? of those who hate their country, we are all? leavers as of tonight.". Some at 2300h, others at Midnight!

I´m European, born & bread. My family (Spanish). I love my country too & I´m still here.

You should perhaps renounce your UK citizenship. If you take a state pension/ S1 from the UK it's a bit rich to abuse those who continue finance it.

It might come as a shock to you but the UK system essentially is a pyramid scheme, like many others. You paid for those before you to enjoy the benefits the state paid, both pension and NHS.

Those younger than you will now be paying for you whilst listening to you moan at how bigoted they are. Incidentally a fair number of them will be from other European states including Spain. I hope you reserve a special place in hell for these turncoats.

In truth people move about if they have the means to do so or their chosen country of residence has a need for them they rarely do so for political reasons.

You can hold your views but for a web forum which helps many British expats, amongst others, it strikes me as odd that you hold a view that many of your compatriots are bigoted racists who want a return to the days of Empire. All except yourself of course. The word Hypocrite springs to mind.

Villas , Villas, Villas, Thrice , RayD wouldn't be found dead partaking of Bitter of any kind considering Bitter was once known as The National Drink of the country he now looks upon as the Pariah land of England.

For making such a suggestion You should go Wash your mouth out !

But not with the Bitter ! 😀

Had no idea you were a connoisseur of the Real Ale Ray.

A man of many unknown talents indeed.

Your comments on the Demon drink are well observed and noted

Cheers 🍻

Well at least Big Ben won't be ringing tonight - I think that was probably the right decision. For those who need reminding.
