Hi,

This is my first post, so apologies for any errors! We are currently moving to a finca between Monover and Pinoso (but comes under Monover). We have a 14 year old, who we have booked a place into an international school, however, it is in Alicante and I was going to be driving each day to Novelda and then she would get the school bus. I know it is a bit of a pain, but because she is starting her GCSE's we thought this was best. However, now we are out here, she has decided she would prefer to either go to a local school (she is aware that she would have to go back a year), or a bilingual school (she speaks French pretty good and already picking up Spanish quickly). I have been speaking to a lot of people and I know the implications of both, however, she is adamant that she wants to have local friends and integrate. I just need some advice from anyone on any either Spanish private or local schools that give intense Spanish lessons (or Valencian), to help her adapt. My little boy (8 years) will be going to a local school and it would make life easier now. Someone told me that there was a bilingual school in Elda, but I can't seem to find anything!
