HI

i am looking to have a pool built. can anyone give me an approximate  cost to have a 10m x 5m with heating.

i am sure there are different styles that will make a difference in price but i was only thinking of looking to buy a villa without a pool.so i was just wondering about costs.

how long does this size of pool take to build

Hi Keith,

A standard pool 8m x 4m is around 10,000€. The paved area around the pool would be extra so you could say around 12,000€ complete with sunbathing terrace. A 10m x 5m pool would be around 15,000€ and if you want it heated this would be extra again and would depend on your heat source. If your property is under Pinoso town hall then the permissions are pretty quick so I would imagine 6 to 8 weeks.

Hi Keith

I would check that you would get planning, as I have just bought a house in cases del senor, it had a pool but was not legal, the regulations were you need 10,000m2 for a pool or any extensions, but I managed to get it legal due to retrospect.howver this was under Manovar

Is the 10,000 with the plans or is that extra?

Thanks

Yes, the builders apply for the licenses for you. Something rather strange is it doesn't include the hole! The reason for this is you pay per day for the machine and if you are on rock then it can take longer. Also, not so difficult for a pool in Pinoso, MOnovar town hall is a nightmare.
