Hello I was wondering if it possible to bring some radiators from the uk for the gas central heating as we have been able to find in the uk a colour to match our interior however we are worried about the fittings.

We did think  about bringing an induction  hob a double oven and fridge freezer if we will only save pence on the items then we will buy in spain.

Also looking to bring a shower if there is something you think is a must to bring from the uk please advise

And let me have your thoughts.

Kindest Regards

Mark

You will be with the radiator as 3/4 fittings you can use British trv and lockshields as they have 15mm fittings and pipe here as for double oven  cannot get here however be aware of the power rating as may be to high especially the induction hob as these have a high wattage and if you divide this by voltage will give you the amperase this is also based on diversity cheers mark

radiators ( water circulation type), willbe ok , but Boilers etc they is no gas available as yet except Butano/Propano, which means you will have to get them rejetted and certified etc ( not worth the cost or effort as good selection availabel from Spanish supply base,) Gasoil or Pellet or even a Log burner with BackBoiler will be the best options available,

the Cooker Hob will be a problem, the average power supply to a house is around 5,5KW ( Approx 20Amps, ) whereas in the Uk 80 or 100A is more normal, , be prepared for plenty of "Brown Outs" if you use a ceramic or induction HOB,

I suggest that you purchase a gas job which works off bottled gas. You can actually buy one with 3 gas rings and 1 electric plate which would be perfect if you ran out of gas!   The winter months are problematic with electric blow outs as you tend to be heating the house, cooking and generally using more electricity than you would in the summer months. I always leave a torch in a place close to the electric box that I can put my hands on when darkness suddenly falls. The whole business of living in Spain is a learning curve but advice from fellow Forum posters is absolutely invaluable. Keep asking and everything will come together for you.

Actually, we DO have mains gas! I live just up the road near Villamartin and a lot of "urbs" have gas natural. Consequently I had full gas central heating and a gas oven/hob installed, Never regretted it for one moment.

Also a few of my neighbours have gas fires )the fluless type) which we now supply (new company setting up) which are around 50% cheaper than those available here!

Hello. I provide natural gas and we could install radiators and combi boiler.

If you are thinking on bringing here your owns radiators, we could give you a quote as well, on the fitting and installation of pipes.

But, first we will need you address so we confirm there is gas on your complex, house, ..So when you are here in Spain please call me, and we see if there is natural gas.

Yes there is natural gas in Villamartin, Algorfa, and in some more places. El Pinoso we will need to check your street to sse if there is cas pipelines yet.

Regards,

Carolina
