This has probably been asked on numerous occasions but I can't find anything, is the tap water potable?

The reason you're not finding anything is that the water in Spain is as good quality as anywhere in the civilised world hence is no more a topic of conversation than it is in UK!

As, we have said. Like drinking chlorine out the tap. It's fine. No fizzy water in the tap. Villas

Hi Colin,  Personal preferences of quality in Taste of the water can be an issue ,regardless of the ongoing debate over safety .Some people will also have varying abdominal tolerances to specific  localised sediments within the supplies 

Bottled water can, and does overcome that issue.

Thanks to everyone for the responses, much appreciated. I worded it wrong, it wasn’t the quality but the temp. Been in the middle east for the last few years and although it’s potable it comes out the tap at bath temperature, not ideal for a quenching thirst!!
