Hi all.. we are looking at buying a holiday home and are interested in finca type properties around a 15 min drive to Pinoso. We would be there mainly from October to March.. can anyone advise what the weather is generally like during this season.. TIA . X
At 450 m above sea level, it will be cold enough for you to want a good heating system. It will be sunny most days and feel lovely and warm outside compared to the UK, but once the sun disappears, coupled with more basic building methods, it will feel very cold indeed. Damp can also be a problem without adequate heating, insulation and ventilation.

Thank you.. as we are buying mainly for the winter warmth we may need to think about somewhere nearer the coast?
Hello Carol, hate to say it but you'll need it on the coast as well, only slightly warmer but construction the same!

Thanks Cheryl.. I’m happy to use heating but was a bit worried about being that high above sea level as the main reason we are looking for a place would be the weather.. I don’t know Costa Blanca too well as we usually overwinter in Costa del Sol which is fine but thought we might look elsewhere . X

I can highly recommend it, in the Vega Baja we have our own little micro-climate and the Costa Blanca is rated best in the world for health.
