We’ve just done loads of research and numerous trips all over Costa Blanca, we wanted somewhere with a safe environment, not too British, with nice architecture and a few bars and restaurants etc.

We stumbled on a place called Relleu it’s about 18 mins drive from the beach though, but the development we have purchased on has an amazing pool. The village itself has about 7 bars and restaurants. People are a nice mix of spanish, European and brits. Property prices seemed stupidly low to us.

After spending a few weekends there we made our purchase of a great three bed villa. There are still a few available for around €82,000 (they are asking €85,000 non negotiable but they will take a little less. Community charge is low and includes Satalite tv too.

It’s horses for courses we didn’t get the right feel for the other places we visited. Anyway hope you find a wonderful place

Thank you so much for replying. I'll look into that area. At the minute we welcome advice from everyone as we have just started this journey and have no idea only that we want to settle in costa blanca

Thanks

Hi we were like you looking for property we travelled up and down the costas with different agents then we found Country Fincas they were brilliant not pushy we gave details of what we were looking for and Karen showed us different options and within 5 days we found our dream home the agents also arranged  for us a fantastic solicitor who was amazing we have family who work in the  legal system and studied spanish law who were able to confirm that our solicitor did everything by the book.

Good luck Re Pinoso is a beautiful town with lots of villages around good restaurants and traditional bars most places you will need to drive if living in a village unless the village has a bar and doubles up as a restaurant which tend to be rustic with fantastic food.

We'd recommend Pinoso and Country Fincas.Karen and Brenda are really helpful and informative. They showed us about 20 properties, unfortunately our purchase fell through but we ended up buying some land through them and now have a lovely house and pool. Pinoso has about 50 bars and restaurants, 4 small supermarkets and good medical centre. We are really happy here.
