Looking for Bilbao Hotel recommendation

Hi.. looking for a recommendation for a hotel nxt to the port in Bilbao for an overnight before catching the ferry if anyone can help ?

Hi

It is a few years ago but we used the Ibis budget hotels in Bilbao. Cheap and cheerful and, for us, most importantly they were pet friendly.

There is one located in Arrigorriaga which is handily placed just off the motorway SE of Bilbao and one slightly closer to the Port in Barakaldo.

Check them out on Google Earth for location and do a dummy run to give you some idea of the time and distance to the Port.

Brittany Ferries web site say they have cancelled all domestic crossings until 15 June. Hopefully they will return to a normal service from then.
