Can anyone help/advise have had a holiday home here for many years unfortunately someone is renting property opposite and leaves dog all day whilst at work the dog barks incessantly until they return home. It is driving us mad can't enjoy garden etc have approached owners (Romainian) not interested one neighbour has approached their president still no help. At my wits end any suggestions please .

I feel your pain, unfortunately there is nothing the president can do other than advise you to call the police, not very satisfactory but that's how things go down here in Spain. Every urbanization has rules, but they are exactly that just rules, not laws, so if people ignore the rules, the president, committee and administrators have no recourse other than to appeal to the better nature of the owners & tenants causing the problems, they are totally powerless to stop any antisocial behaviour.

If you know the house owners go to them directly to complain. Had same problem but don't live on an urbanisation we contacted the owner who was shocked to hear there was a dog at the house. Problem got sorted.

Firecrackers and ultrasound +/-10KHz give barking dogs a bad time.
