Hi Jan

We have just bought an apartment in playa flamenca and are trying to gather some information on public transport etc for family and friends who visit.

Would appreciate your help with bus stops, timetables and journeys

Many thanks

Interested in the responses - we've also recently bought in Playa Flamenca and found the service confusing - I'd love to see how this works !

Hi Jan,

I will get the latest bus timetables sometime this week, and then ask you how to download/upload them from my iPad/Printer. I will also give any tips and advice for using the buses. So 'Watch this space'!

Bus timetables can be obtained from the information kiosk in La Zenia boulevard shopping centre.

Hi All

Loving the info so far.  Having bought our holiday home in Al Andalus (playa flamenca)

It would be great to find out bus stops/times etc to other resorts, ie day trip to Benidorm.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Deb

Hi Deb,

There are 2 companies that do day trips. David's Coach Tours, and Rosa Coach Tours. They both pick up from Playa Flamenca and La Zenia. All depending on which way they are travelling, the pick up points are at Mercadona roundabout at Playa Flamenca or on the N332 opposite the town hall. They also pick up by Consum at La Zenia. The trips are very good value. Take a look at their websites. You will also find adverts in local newspapers. There are some free papers  and the Costa Blanca News is very good, cost 2 euros. Both speak English, and you can book by phone with a debit/credit card. The Benidorm trip is very cheap!

All the best,

Sheila

Everyday. Every 90 min.

Departures CC La Zenia Boulevard:
07:30, 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:30, 17:00, 18:30 y 20:00.

8:15, 9:45, 11:15, 12:45, 16:15, 17:45, 19:15 y 20:45.

Go to their website, costazul.net and scan the app which gives all the stops. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding arrival/departure times at each stop.

Hope this helps.

The information kiosk at La Zenia Boulevard (In front of the Farmacia) will give you a printed timetable showing all the stops and times.
