Hi,

Looking for advice/recommendations for applying for NLV.

While I have commenced the process myself (forms, health insurance etc), in the UK, I`m looking for advice if it is easier to engage a Spanish company to undertake the whole process on my behalf. I know I will need someone in Spain to "legalise" the docs, anyway, so not sure if it`s much more for a Company to assist with all the docs required.

Has anyone successfully used a Spanish company and was it cost effective and what was the cost?

Any assistance would be greatly appriciated.

We are going through the process just now. Have all documentation in place and hopefully booking an appt at consulate in Manchester in the next week or two. We used currencies4u in Pinoso. They have taken most of the hassle out of the process for me. Having got translation sorted and forms filled out correctly and checked etc.

Initial outlay was just over €1000. But i have piece of mind knowing everything has been done correctly and double checked.

Another €1000+ for consulate fee.

Roughly €2300 altogether.

Sure it can be done cheaper but we were in a desperate situation and needed things done quickly and professionally.

I can highly recommend them. Have a look on the website for prices but I use them for everything I can't deal with myself (hassle v price).
