Hi, trying to get a taxi from near Lidl in Playa Flamenca to anywhere local is at best hard work. Only ever found taxi costa and they sometimes are fully booked.
Everywhere does airport taxis but you call all the first 5 or 6 on Google for local and no answer.
Taxi rank is too far when dressed up and can also be a long wait.
Had this problem for 4 years and never solved it.
Anyone got any numbers please.

I sympathize! And this summer seems to be even worse than usual.
I've caught a taxi from Rocky's before, and I've seen others doing the same. Just get a drink at the bar and ask the barstaff to order one. The last time I did it, the taxi arrived about 10 mins later, but that was around Easter time.
Re TaxiCosta - they have an app where you can book days in advance, if that helps.

It is worse than ever, but the call from a bar would appear to be the best option.
Cannot get the Taxi Costa app as have UK mobile, assume you need Spanish one as it says not available in your country 🙄
Had to drive to Villamartin Plaza last night, had a beer or 2 and waited for 30 minutes at the taxi rank, behind about 6 or 7 others, not one taxi appeared so we walked most of the way and hop scooter the rest !
Not one taxi passed us in either direction !

Re the app - I'm no expert but surely if you connect using WiFi then it should install no problem? Are you trying to download it using your data allowance?
I may be misunderstanding.

Hi l have the Taxi Orihuela Costa app on a UK mobile so you should be able to download it, however they are not as reliable as they used to he having not turned up on the last 2 occassions we used it,.

Oh, ok. Maybe WIFI to get the app is the answer.

So basically, drink local, walk everywhere, turn teetotal or risk life and limb on Hop scooters !
