Are supermarkets closed on Sundays in Valencia region only or all over Spain?

As far as I am aware it's just the Valencia region. It started on the 16th January there is a brief hiatus in April before during and after Easter then closed again until the middle of June.

Hi Micky

It's a pain isn't it!?

If you have a car, then it's not far to https://www.carrefour.es/tiendas-carrefour/hipermercados/carrefour/san-javier.aspx which is not in Valencia.

If you just need bread, milk etc. you can try the local filling stations, which are all open. The filling station next to Carrefour supermarket in PF is a Carrefour Express.

Cheers

Thanks Steve, I was thinking I might have to  drive to Lidl in San Pedro if neccessary.

The Repsol garage at Los Dolses is open Sundays and it has freshly baked goods, more like a mini supermarket.
