Leave booking till very end of july , then hopefully permission will be given with conditions to fly , we need to go to Spain  and spain needs us ,

Spain needs tourists but we don’t need the virus transporting back in if the UK don’t get their act together. We don’t want to be lockdowned again, that won’t help anyone ! So just be patient...

Has anyone heard anything about the air bridges that are supposedly ending 29th june?

Chelsea, The 'air bridge' idea is ,at the moment, only at the discussions stage. It cant be ending on 29th June as it hasn't even begun yet .

Melaniega, The first three days of this current week has shown an increase in infection rate in Spain and no ,as you describe, 'virus transporters'  have arrived yet  !

I don't think banning Brits will help.. Nor will any lockdown in the long run. Only my opinion but this is in t he common cold family of viruses and i doubt any antibodies test will prove you are immunised nor will there ever be a working inoculation. It's something we'll have to live with. It's what they mean by, 'the new norm'

 Chelsea,Thanks for clearing that up.

You are correct in stating the Quaranteen of visitors and returnees to the UK has begun on 8th June.

It is looking like 'Air Bridges' may replace, or possibly supplement,  the present Quaranteen rules as early as the end of this month, but certainly, as of yet,  i am unaware of any definite date or arrangements that have been announced. Can you point to the source of your information.  Thanks.
