Hello there - as Murcia area appears to be opening up again for tourism can clarity be given to how beach bars / toilet facilities are to be opened up for use please. Had our usual holiday dates booked for 29 August for two weeks at beginning of year, before Covid 19 started, and am still optimistic of being able to come out. Thanks for any updates.

It is not just Murcia Province that is opening up, it is all Spain.   However, there are still some regulations in place and you would need to check with local town halls to obtain their take on the regulations.

Thank you Golandrina - will check with local town hall for playa Flamenca as this is where I hope to  still have my holiday.

There are a couple of things to also remember:   (1)   the wearing of face masks is mandatory wherever you are if you are going to be within 1.5 metres of anyone and (2) self-distancing of 1.5 metres is also required.

If you keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page you can get a lot of information off there.   This page, along with their website, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.   Normally they only deal with anything to do with driving in Spain but, during the current crisis, they have diversified and keep us updated with any regulations in place.

If I was going to the beach I would make sure that I section off my area with wind breaks around me/us and then set up another set 1.5 meters away from them ensuring the rule. There is always someone who comes by you despite the massive open areas around you.

I would not go the the beach if I had to wear a mask whilst on there........no fun in that to me. I wouldn't fancy having to put it on to go and have a swim/ paddle in the sea.

I wonder what the nudists do.........strange site that would be!
