I have a couple of questions. Was anybody called/contacted for the 3rd Covid jab? I am 71 and have only had 2. I booked at the Centro Salud for 21st Dec, but yesterday received a text from Sanitat giving me an appointment at Torrevieja Hospital for this week, 15th. I will go for this one. I have never had a flu jab, but am considering it. So my second question is, can both Covid and Flu jabs be given in the same arm? I have a medical reason for not wanting a jab in my left arm.

I wonder why I was not contacted for the 3rd Covid jab. Did they send texts out for these?

Thanks šŸ˜Ž PS: I had to Login to the Forum today, and usually the link from the email logs me in automatically. Have things changed?

I have never had a text for Covid or flu jabs in 16 years of living here, just keep asking at the health centre.  I would ask the professional if you can have both jabs in one arm.

In Almoradi we received notifications of an appointment to receive both the 1st and 2nd Booster Jabs - not both together(!).   At the same time we were also given the 'flu jab, but one in each arm.

I also received a text yesterday to go to Torrevieja Hospital on 15th for a 4th covid shot and a flu.

I had both shots together last year, one in each arm, and was so sick I will never do that again. I didn't get a text last year, I just lined up at the hospital on the day they said anyone could go.

They automatically put them in difference arms. Just a thought - You could ask at the health centre if you can have the flu jab there at a different time, if you only use one arm for injections.

Thanks. I now think I will wait until my appointment on 21st at the Salud, and skip the flu jab. šŸ˜‚

You could go on Thursday and just have the covid shot. I just said yes when they asked me if I wanted both. Everyone else I know said no, just the covid thank you. šŸ˜

Hi

Fortunately, everybody is different. My wife had both her covid and flu jabs at the same time and for a few days felt rough. I had both done at the same time (both of us had one in each arm) and apart from the usual soreness I always get from inoculations I was absolutely fine. Must just be down to luck. So for Sheila64, whatever way you choose, good luck.

Kindest Regards

Neil

I am going today to the hospital and will refuse the flu jab.  I had it many years ago in UK and was very ill afterwards. I hope I can just have the Covid jab.
