I have a couple of questions. Was anybody called/contacted for the 3rd Covid jab? I am 71 and have only had 2. I booked at the Centro Salud for 21st Dec, but yesterday received a text from Sanitat giving me an appointment at Torrevieja Hospital for this week, 15th. I will go for this one. I have ...

...never had a flu jab, but am considering it. So my second question is, can both Covid and Flu jabs be given in the same arm? I have a medical reason for not wanting a jab in my left arm.

I wonder why I was not contacted for the 3rd Covid jab. Did they send texts out for these?

Thanks šŸ˜Ž PS: I had to Login to the Forum today, and usually the link from the email logs me in automatically. Have things changed?

I am pragmatic and look at it this way, you could die (though unlikely) from Covid or Flu but it is highly unlikely you will die from the vaccinations so you would be stacking the cards in your favour ā€¦ so do it. I had both my flu and 4th Covid booster in my right arm, at the same time, without any issues.

I just had my Covid booster at Torrevieja hospital.  They ask you whether you want both Covid and flu, I said only Covid and they were ok with it.  Lots of people in the queue who only wanted Covid jab.

Hello all,

I received my invitation for the jabs.

I am on holiday till half februari. They invited us to make an appointment.

Does anybody has experience if it is possible to react on this invitation a few months after the text message.

Do they say: NOW you are late or would there be a little bit of flexibilitity...?

Regards,

Ronald

Hi I couldn't attend for my 4th covid jab at Torrevieja hospital on the 15th December because I'm undergoing chemotherapy at the moment. As I didn't attend I received another text telling me to make an appointment at my local clinic for the jab which I will do when my chemotherapy has finished. Hope this helps.

Hi all
Back in UK at present. Current flu situation is starting to ramp up. Everyone over 50 or vulnerable is highly encouraged to get the flu jab. They are saying that this flu season is looking to be particularly bad, at least if not worse than 2017 when  over 30,000 people unfortunately died. Donā€™t know how flu season in Spain compared ( hopefully better!) but I for one woukd think getting a flu jab is possibly at least as important as a covid booster. But itā€™s a personal choice of course.

Hi intend to get both flu and covid given my vulnerable health situation. So good advice. Especially if you travel back to the UK a lot.

You could go on Thursday and just have the covid shot. I just said yes when they asked me if I wanted both. Everyone else I know said no, just the covid thank you. šŸ˜

I had covid booster and flu jabs on the same day at my GP surgery in London a few months ago,one in the left and one in the right arm. I was fine. So need for anybody to be worried or put off having both jabs on the same day. If you want both jabs go for it. And don't worry about being given both jabs in the same arm you can choose what arm(s) to have the jabs.

I have never had a text for Covid or flu jabs in 16 years of living here, just keep asking at the health centre.  I would ask the professional if you can have both jabs in one arm.

My husband and I got a text from our health centre to make an appointment for our 4th Covid jab and flu jab.We went up that afternoon and got an appointment for next day for both. We got a jab in each arm
