Anybody have any joy in applying for refunds on EasyJet cancelled flight? Have tried the disrupted flight option so many times but only have the choice to rebook, no refund offered.
If it works the same as Ryanair then read the cancellation e-mail fully as using the link on the Ryanair one went straight to the refund form but trying to get a refund through the actual booking on the usual Ryanair site didn't work.

No their process is different from Ryanair who I find are much easier to manage whereas EJ have proved to be an absolute shambles. Thanks to Ryanair we got home to UK.

I think EasyJet have changed their policy very recently. My flight has been cancelled today. I clicked the link in their email expecting to have the option of either rebooking or a refund. But there is no longer any refund button. If you want a refund you must phone Customer Services and are warned there may be a substantial delay in their answering the phone. Online the options say rebook flights or a voucher but there doesn’t seem to be anyway of obtaining the voucher. As I said I think this is a new alternative, still under development, so will check the website again tomorrow.
I understand EasyJet are reluctant to refund all their customers and take the huge financial hit which could destroy them but I have 6 flights booked with them in the next few months and don’t want the risk of rebooking flights so far ahead or a voucher which might not be honoured. A delicate balancing act for EasyJet and their customers. We all want the airlines to survive so that eventually we can enjoy Spain once again.

My flight with Easijet to the UK was cancelled on the 17 March. Took the refund option which they stated would be 7 days. Today is the 28 March and still no refund?!!

I believe EU law requires them to refund in 7 days for a cancelled flight. They are fighting this and wanting to issue vouchers instead.

Because they don’t want to go bankrupt!!!! None of us will benefit from that.
I applied for a refund from Ryanair a week ago. Got email today saying that got huge backlog and could we be patient. Fair enough as long as get it eventually

I have received an email telling me to check in for my flight on Monday which was cancelled. Will persevere with my quest for a refund.
