Help! First flight to England since Lockdown. I am worried about filling in the Locator form to travel to England and back again. I have all the things needed, vaccination forms, correct numbers for COVID tests here and from England. When do I fill the form in and how do I access the websites please? Flying with Ryanair both ways. Thanks.

We have just flown to Spain and back with Ryanair, they bombarded us with emails telling you to check that you have all the correct documents, the links to the forms you need are within the emails.
Also they are on the Ryanair website.

I’m due to fly out to Spain with Ryanair on Sat, and have received an e-mail which is somewhat confusing me, which states
Other mandatory documents required
Passengers who after submitting the electronic Health Control form will be issued with a QR code and description “DOCUMENTAL CHECK” on it, must present a:,
1) certificate/document certifying vaccination, 2) a negative Covid-19 test result or 3) a document certifying you have recovered Covid-19 to enter Spain.
I am double jabbed, so satisfy criteria no.(1), but wasn’t aware that I need a negative Covid-19 test result (2) or letter confirming recovery from Covid (3) (which doesn’t apply as I’ve not had Covid)
Basically I’m asking do I need a negative test to be done before flying out?

No you don't. Just make sure you have downloaded your NHS double jabbed record on to your phone, or send it to your computer and print it out. You will be asked to show it on arrival in Spain.

No Steve
Just your Vaccination certificate and Spanish locator form.
The wording in the mail is a bit confusing, if they used and/or in between the requirements it would help.

Thanks ScotsLass & Kenbo, the wording is somewhat confusing and, like you, I am of the understanding that just the passenger location form and evidence of double jabs will suffice. The IK Govt website also states this
By wording their e-mail like they have, I wouldn’t be surprised if some travellers panic and hastily arrange a last minute Covid test, maybe via Ryanair’s “partners” when it isn’t needed…. more money in the coffers of Mr O’Leary

For anyone filling in either the UK or Spanish Locator forms I would say this...
They do create a level of anxiety in travellers because you can't complete them well in advance then sit back and relax knowing it's done. But...they're not very complicated.
My advice is when you open up the form, take plenty time to answer one question at a time. Don't let your eyes fast forward until you've answered the question in front of you. So for example if the form is asking for your telephone number eg +1234567 make sure you enter your number without the zero at the beginning. Then move onto the next question.
"Covid recovery form" is not relevant unless you had Covid. Ignore.
If you have a modern mobile eg Android there's no need to print everything off (unless you want to) because the airport staff are quite happy just seeing your forms on your phone. A QR code on a downloaded form on your phone WILL scan on their machines.
Stay calm and it falls into place!

Hi Steve,
though you cannot complete the UK passenger locator form until 48 hours before travel it can be created at any time and a copy stored. It is password protected and when you want to access the form they send a authentication code to your mobile.
I have just now checked the account I created in June this year, the data is still there and correct. The authorisation code came through to my UK mobile (*) here in Spain within a 60 seconds.
I would recommend filling out the form in advance so that it is only the flight data (seat numbers) that needs to be changed within 48 hours of travelling.
* I am not sure if this would work with a non-UK mobile number as I only have a UK mobile.
Aitch.

Cheers Aitch. I pre-filled my UK one and recovered the info too.
