I think it's run its course but why would the Admin lock it?

If it doesn't interest you don't read it - turn off the notifications.

Let the people who want to carry on - carry on.

John 52 We appear to be going round in circles. I feel your whole argument is based on need and want. The UK and other governments need to protect their citizens from the ravages of the covid19 virus. A number of UK citizens want to travel abroad for a holiday. You quite rightly say that those countries want the money that we have to sustain their economies. However do they need the increased risk that that brings? I would suggest that, in the case,  of the UK, that is not so. Since the UK government has placed a £1750 premium and isolation on entering the country. Why would you think that this could be any different for any other country? Most countries would rather devastate their economies than their citizens. Especially if it was done to provide a  holiday for foreigners. You seem to believe that the governments' of the world should pay to have people from other countries visit them. I would suggest that this is not a come at all costs decision. Since others are getting bored of this discussion this will be my last contribution on this subject.

Agreed, the vaccination process is going well. I'd give credit for that to the NHS and the scientists. Not politicians, just my opinion though. Other opinions are also valid 😉

dont forget the thousands of volunteers helping with the logistics and vaccinations, what a fantastic achievement to all those involved, people forget what a great country the uk is, i was only a barrow boy, but my 3 grand kids went to king edwards school  the best school in the midlands, so dont think about it, do it, like i did, or (beckham) seanie
