Driving license

Go to the medical center almoradi.   We drove there and made an appointment.   She speaks A little English.   They do everything for you.  Don't need a translator.  Easy computer test, eye test and a few medical questions.  They give you a temp driving permit and your new licence will be posted to you.

My understanding is that the process changed after 31st December 2020.

If you didn't swap over your UK driving license before the above date or register your intent (if you were waiting for your residency process to complete) with the DGT to do so then "on paper" you have until June 2021 to take a Spanish driving test. This given the UK  licenses cease to be valid documents after that time. This only applies to UK citizens who are resident here not those on holiday.

The UK and Spanish governments are reviewing the situation but I wouldn't hold your breath.

There will probably be others on here who are in the same boat as you and who will likely chime in a response.

Does anyone has being successful in changing licence from UK to Spanish?

If yes please help . I have to the end of this month for been legal to drive here.

Not able to change my licence as I got a new English licence and the old one

I register on in December 2020 , it was expired on February. 
DGT does not accept my new driving licence.

We got Expat Services at La Zenia to sort ours out.  Just needed a medical and they did the rest for us without any issues.  We did register with the DVLA before the end of December 2020 to avoid having to take another driving test.
