Amazon Deliveries

If you're ordering something stocked or sold by Amazon, the easiest solution is to get them delivered to your local Correos.

They always telephone us & we walk down to collect it from the pedestrian gate that is always open!J S.

If you are in Playa Flamenca then you are right, The Correos Office is round the corner from the Esplanade and the Lobster and Surfers Restaurants.

I have had many Amazon deliveries to our house in a gated urbanisation. You can put your phone number on their website with instructions for them to ring you, and this will apply to all orders once it's on there. Also, they usually email you so that you know what day they are delivering. Never had a problem, excellent service. Most companies are good here. The only exception that we have found is SEUR - the worst delivery company I have ever come accross!

I think it depends a great deal on the delivery driver, and not the company. SEUR are the only courier who have ever found our house.

You were lucky, Jim. I have been expecting a delivery for a neighbour, and today was the third date given, they said between 9 and 3 and still they haven't turned up. My neighbour has now given up and will ask for a refund.

The latest update:SEUR arrived at 7:30 last night (not the 9 - 3 schedule). However they only had 2 of the 3 boxes. He will bring that tonight and said that in this area it is always around 7:30. It's a pity that the office doesn't know this.
