I'm having a problem with my bank.  I live in UK and have been renting my property in Spain.

My bank card expired a while ago and I contacted Caixa bank to ask if they could send me a new card.  They emailed me and said it had been sent to me - this was 28th September.  I still haven't received it.

I have just looked at my bank account and it looks like nothing is coming in or going out this month. Very worrying as I have to pay bills in Spain.

It's hard to contact them, but at last they are calling me next week. Has any one else had this problem?

Paula

I am with Caixa. I have always found that messaging them through the app gets a speedy response.

Even living here I've found Caxia totally unwilling to post cards, always had to collect in person.

I agree messaging through the app usually elicits a quick response.

All at my branch speak English which might make a difference!

I suggest you ask your solicitor to contact them on your behalf to ascertain that your bills are paid otherwise your services will be cut off.

We are finally closing our account and moved to Wise    Best thing we’ve done.

Yes, a few people say that too, very stressful.

Relocated from Belgium to Spain.

Highly recommend English speaking contact person at Javier Blasco.

He solves and gets results with any Caixa bank problem.

Caixa Bank (Passeig Germanias 66. Gandia 46701 Valencia Province).

Manager: Javier Blasco [email protected] telephone: 96 282 9190
mobile: 628 310 433.

Javier speaks fluent English and provides a superb, personal service (having an excellent bank manager is often more important than the bank itself – some of which can be both expensive and inefficient!!)

Highly recommend Nick Snellings books which contact valuable information.

Still got a problem with Caixa bank.  I haven't got my new card, so I can't log in to my account.  They have told me my  account will be blocked.

My bills and my rental income wont get paid. I'll have to get to Spain as soon as I can.

A member of this forum recommended to call the Manager, which I will do tomorrow.  Fingers crossed!

I believe Mr Javier Blasco returns to office first week of January 2023.

I advise you to contact his assistant Ms Sabina Castells.
