Alancx , I think you are about right with September . Although Spanish authorities say they do not want British till the end of summer. I have put it in my head lock down and travel ban will end by Christmas. If it comes before it is a Bonus. We still have vouchers with Ryan air and Airbnb from last March when we should have been out for 5 weeks looking at property but I now think this property thing is now a thing of the past.

The situation in the UK is serious but there are signs that the numbers are starting to come down and the vaccination roll out is going well.  The UK press is so negative and loves to criticise the government and NHS.  The journalists ask some stupid questions and there are MP’s that ...

...are asking for a timetable. The situation is changing daily so there is no point in trying to second-guess what will happen this summer.  I have a house in Moraira and are thinking we might get there in September. We will have to wait and see.

Totally agree with you. I listen to the afternoon update and cannot believe the quests being asked. Not only that, Andrew Marr pressed on when schools will reopen. No politician would dare to answer that for the very reason you gave..... nobody knows. Things change daily. It’s so annoying then to hear all the criticism pointed at the government . Listening to the lunchtime news and it’s still an ongoing attack.

If the government provided a clearer picture of the type of people who have died you would see that there are a huge number of black snd ethnic minorities and as well as that, poorer less privileged people too. People who live in close communities the same as we saw last year in Wuhan. Poverty is one of the biggest factors. If you can’t afford food and heat, how can you afford sanitiser and soap and good hot water?  Clean towels and more.

Culture plays an incredibly huge part in these depressing numbers also.

The way things are going I think No Holidays this year. Spain now have shut down bars and Restaurant's just like here in the UK. This is encouraging house parties and the virus spreads faster. I have seen people coming and going bringing boxes of beer and wine and then party time. It is not good ...

...for us people staying home like we should as the virus level is up and down like in Spain. We are stuck in again for I do not know how long. Madness .

hi steve  and well said,,surely people should be acutely aware by now the virus knows no bounds and if you want it , its very much readily available FREE, the uk have now said that the hot spots, have being a huge factor in the spreading, those who continue to break the rules, please think about the people who have passed away, and the many more who could, seanie

In 2016 Bill Gates ( microsoft) made a speach at a conference predicting there would be a pandemic in 4 years time. Also in 2016 the British government ran a months trial of what could happen if we did. Clearly they didn't learn much.

Last year we had the Pandemic as predicted and in October 2020, Bill Gates said it would end at the end of 2021. So we shall see if his second predictions come true. I believe nothing I hear on the TV or most of the UK press.
