Hi everyone

This questions will probably have been answered by yourselves many times.  We are a couple in our early 60s that are considering moving to the Costa Blanca within the next 2 years. Its a fairly new idea were bandying about and dont really know where to start.

Some advice on the first steps we need to consider and how Brexit will effect you and us and information on the what Playa Flemenca is like for socialising, shopping, eating and the beach, my partner enjoys playing golf and socialising, Im intending to take up golfing but would want other things to do as well.  We are both fairly fit at present and enjoy (if thats the right word) going to the gym on a regular basis.

Any advice on propeties would also be helpful and average prices.

If there are any other suitable resorts that any one could suggest, similar to what I have learnt about Playa Flemenca that would also be helpfu.

As Im sure you will have guessed we are quite naive about all this but looking forward to a chance of some sunshine and an enjoyable retirement.

thankyou in advance

Trish & Kenny

Hi,

There is so much you need to know.

Fortunately, you have found this forum.

My advice is to keep checking all the posts every day.

You will get all sorts of advice ,good and bad..

Just file it under " Save "

In e few months you will be an expert in all things Spanish.

Firstly, checkout "JIMS GUIDES ' on this forum, then be prepared for all the info your gonna get.

Good luck

Hi Trish  and welcome to the Forum.

You mention Playa Flamenca and wishing to be local for golfing, have you considered Cabo Roig, Lomas de Cabo Roig, La Fuenta and Villamartin ?

Ditto on advice for consulting ' Jim's Guides'

Good luck !

Hi, sorry to say this but you will have to show a proven income of £3000.00 a month to live there as the UK will not be in the EU and all non EU citizens are already paying this.  It has ruined our plans to move over.  This info came from Citizen Advice.  😭
