If you want to send a parcel from the uk and want to receive it on a specific day how would you go about this .we live in a gated community and wondered how you would receive your parcel or is there a pick up office many thanks. Billy
I just sent an amazon fire tv stick (loaded with movies, sports etc) for £12 signed and tracked....took 4 days. Re the gated thing, I would imagine a note would be left to collect from post office. Hope this helps.

I would be very interested if someone replies saying that a parcel can be delivered on a particular day. Specsavers sent a parcel to me using Royal Mail, at a substantial cost. They were told that posting it on a Friday would guarantee Monday delivery. However, it was a week later that the package arrived. Although online tracking showed that it had reached Spain, there was no movement shown after that. Perhaps there is a special courier that can guarantee a date. We live in a gated community and small parcels have always been brought to our door by the usual postman.
