Has anybody bought a toaster here that toasts bread evenly and quickly? I am on my second toaster in 4 years and they have both been pretty useless! Is it the Spanish bread or are they just not making them like they used to? Any recommendations of which one to buy? I am fed up with hubby's daily moaning!

What.....! at that price.....I´d want it buttered,( brought by Donk, from the local bakery) smothered & with jam ( or what you´d like) & delivered in bed @ 0545! ( just like Jim gets up!) golliwog badge fresa! o Sevilla marmalade! .......OH! can´t say that in the UK. The little lady( on the way home) sells the best jam in the world. (pssssss! don´t tell RayD!) Don Quixote goes on his own ( without a provisional licence)

Hello Villas how are you

Maybe you will have to continue with your diet of bread and dripping.

Have a good day.

Do you know. bread & dripping, UK, takes me back years. Nostalgia!

Downing Street insiders have accused pro-remain former ministers of leaking an official document predicting that a no-deal Brexit could lead to food shortages! it´s not so much a leak!....... just a "drip".

Nakabandi, Bread and dripping  ?

I'm  sitting here Chewing the fat over that one.

If her indoors sent me out to buy one ,and I was to pay £169.99 for it ,then when I returned home and told her the cost, it would be me who would be toast 😟

Oooooo bread on a toasting fork over a coal fire, great big doorsteps, happy days. You can't even get any dripping off the beef now, it's all hralthy stuff. Don't know how all us oldies have survived ..... Probably better fed then than all this junk food. All some people could afford was bread & drip xx

Sheila, happy memories Indeed  👍

As kids, we would use the old heavy poker from the side of the grate to hold the bread over the coals to make our toast.

Mind you it was only when my Dad was at work and my Mam was out shopping. !

They would have battered us if they had known. 😃😃😃
