As long as your property is not invaded, there is nothing you can do. Of course you can file a report at your Council (Dept. Obras y Servicios) but I'd give it poor chances.

Les, it's worth talking to your town hall. If it should have had planning permission and doesn't then the town hall are obliged to take action.

Which urbanisation are you on Lesley, as a similar thing happened on ours a couple of years ago and got resolved, I believe, by the town hall forcing the owners to have it removed?

The president said he got permission Jim is that different from planning permission ?

It could well be, Les. If the property is part of a community, then permission needs to be given by that community, but that's in addition to the need for planning permission from the town hall.

Ouch, Nicola, my sympathies. Having a severely compacted disk and arthritis in the vertebrae either side of it, causing me constant pain, I can well understand what you're suffering.

Ouch! It might be excellent technology, but it looks absolutely horrendous. Years ago I was told they could fit a metal cage to my spine to hold the two vertebrae apart, so the nerves wouldn't be trapped any more. A friend did have this operation, but - at that time - it made the joint rigid so it wouldn't move, and not long after the operation he started getting severe pain from the joints either side, because of the extra stress to which they were subjected. I decided not to have the op.

I've also got spinal curvature, forward and sideways. That affects my balance, presumably because my brain thinks it's at my centre of gravity, whereas it's actually off-centre.

Don't let me put you off. Medical treatment is much better than it used to be, and I sincerely hope it works for you.

Incidentally, how did you manage to embed the video in your post? Is this one of the improvements that Alex has made recently?
