Does anyone know of an Insurance Company l can contact to get a quote
for my:
2 bedrooms apartment in Playa Flamenca
I started paying €150 per year and next renewal which 2nd March they want
€173 - this is for building and contents.
I would welcome any advise.

That sounds about right to me, a normal yearly increase but take a look at the link below

For a property which is not permanently inhabited I think this is cheap. By all means get other quotes but please don't just go for the cheapest, this is a big investment so take a few hours out to check the terms and conditions before you decide which insurer you go with. Also make sure the sums covered are adequate.
Premiums this year have gone up a lot.
Google "Insurers for holiday homes in Spain" and plenty come up.
Jennifer Cunningham is an agent for Generali, ex Liberty Seguros so will only be able to quote for them but they do offer a good policy.
