Due to flight cancellations meds will run out - can pharmacy help?

Just Statins and BP meds

You don't need prescriptions. Common medicines are sold over the counter.
If you take your UK-prescribed meds with you (with the label attached) the pharmacy will provide the local equivalent.
If they don't have it in stock, it will (usually) be obtained for you within 2 days.

I had the same problem as I left an asthma inhaler in the fridge back in UK. Went to big chemist at end of Strip/campoamor, showed my used inhaler and bought it. Only problem was I was charged €51!! At least I got one though. Back home my meds are free. So now trying to find out what clinic to go to using my EHIC.

The common BP meds are also available over the counter, and only cost a couple of euros or so.
