Have been with ASSSA for 4 years since I got here and found them quite satisfactory. Have only had occasion to use them to see an opthalmist regularly to monitor glaucoma so far, that has been fine. Also took out their dental cover which reduces cost of dental treatment, again service has been good.

Their main selling point, which has turned out to be true, is that their premiums will never increase by more than the rate of inflation, however old you get. Last year we had no increase at all. Some companys increase their charges steeply as you reach milestone ages. Make sure you check that out.

My wife and I took out healthcare insurance with DKV in 2018.

My wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2019.

She received chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. She continues to receive regular scans and checkups.

My wife underwent tests and scans at various hospitals/specialist medical facilities. Her oncology/chemotherapy and surgery were provided by the Quiron Hospital in Murcia. Her radiotherapy was provided by GenesisCare in Murcia. We can thoroughly recommend DKV. We had a translator at most appointments (we didn't have to pay extra for this). DKV have an English-speaking option on their contact phone number.

Our premium has increased by the annual rate of inflation. No additional cost increase has been applied as a result of her treatment.

We have just renewed with ASSSA for our second year.  The office in La Zenia is great and all the girls there speak good English.  My neighbour is with DKV and has used their services alot, but has difficulty when she needs to speak to them as they don't speak english.
