Hi hope it's OK to post this my friend owns a townhouse in playa flamenca but sadly she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and I wondered if anyone could help with the subject of any monies etc that could be owed to the government or if the house was put up for sale again what money would be owed to the government etc. My friend is not a resident it's a holiday property for her and sadly she is too ill 🤒 to ask any questions. Many thanks in advance cheers Harry

If you consider using a specialist, I would recommend Uma at getlegalinspain.com.

Very sad.

She should appoint a Power of Attorney both in Spain and the UK so that things can be done if she is unable to continue.

The easiest/chrapest thing would be to sell. The Spanish beurocracy will defeat all but the hardest, especially if they live in the UK.

Should have said there will be Capital Gains Tax to be paid  one way or the other, regardless of who sells. Her Solr will look after that. The figure is calculated using Divine Intervention. (Dependent on so many things)
