Hi 

Newbie here thank you for welcoming me to your page. We are currently looking for a property with a garage and communal pool near amenities in playa flamenca just wanting to find out about the area, what's popular, things to do, best places to eat and drink,This will be our holiday home and will be retiring here in the the future so need to find the right one but ones with garages are hard to find in our budget.

£90,000 English pounds for the property and put extra to one side for fees as we are not sure what they will be !!

Hi Nina,

Just as a guide for you, a 3 bed townhouse with garage and communal pool on our urbanisation is 140,000 euros. One has just sold, and there are a couple of others up for sale. The fees amount to around 15%, because the tax alone is 10%. So you are talking of about £120,000+ for the total cost, depending on the exchange rate. It seems as though your budget falls short unless you look to buy a property that needs a lot of work. Perhaps a bank repossession? Good luck anyway.

There is one on my urb 105000 euros 3 bed with garage, small pool. I receive a regular newsletter from thinkspain.com which has a few around your price. Playa Flamenca is central to all other areas of Orihuela Costa. It is mainly urbanizations but has quite a number of bar/restaurants. I live near La Florida in Las Chismosas. Quiet area but with a car you have easy access to places such as Torrevieja within around 10 to 15 minutes. La Florida has a number of bar/restaurants with entertainment. Bus services around Orihuela Costa not very frequent every  one and a half hours. Easy access to weekly market every Saturday and the La Zenia Mall. Nice beach at Playa Flamenca but a little farther away is La Zenia beach, Cabo Roig beach and Punta Prima beach.

You might find a 3 bed with a secure driveway more in line with your budget if that would be an option. By

Nina I would be careful on bank repossessions as a year down the line you could be faced with tax to pay as house was sold under value of plot.
