Hi, my wife and I have just bought a lovely place in Playa Flamenca. We are having some work done at he moment but cant wait to get out there and start using it.

It will be a holiday home initially but we do intend to use it as much as possible.

hi Guys

I hope you dont mind me enquiring to what type of properties are we discussing on these developments ?and roughly what price level.

We have been discussing this area for some time now and been involved with the usual agents and to be honest given up with that method  and realised we need to sort it ourselves.

I have been offered the same house by a number of agents at vastly differing prices and know if i contact the seller with cash a deal could be sorted and both parties would be happy.

Any comments would be beneficial

Redmalc.

That's easier said than done, we just purchased the ideal apartment in la zenia, we used several agents all offering the same places at different prices, however, we liked inmoinvestments in la zenia, so, so helpful, patient and polite.

I spotted 'our' apartment on their website and added it to our shortlist before we went over....nothing else could match it for the price, condition and especially location (5 min walk to beach and boulevard). We decided to low ball an offer of €10,000 on an already low and reduced price, inmoinvestments negotiated on our behalf and the offer was accepted!!

Then, our independent lawyer ( and you must ask me for her details if you get fixed up....she is awesome and works for 'cash' 😜) over and above service.

Info and our lawyer teamed up with our bank manager and the three of them did everything.....so, so simple, relatively cheap and so smooth.

Thanks for that, your comments are exactly what i thought and only last week i had an agent call me to tell me one of the new developments we were looking at was selling fast,i responded good for you so you will not  want my business..

Looking to come out later in the year, we want an area which is safe and near to the bars and restaurants because wife does not drive.

Thanks All

Don't do new developments, they're all pushy and want top $$.

La zenia, Cabo, etc are all lovely places and all within walking distances to beaches bars etc....la zenia is minutes walk to the massive boulevard shopping centre. (Keep your wife occupied for days)

The agents on the traditional sites like rightmove zoopla kyero etc. Tend to charge top dollar as well. We found there is no beating getting out there and looking around. We eventually bought via inmo investments who were brilliant. Prices have definitely risen in the last year but its still fantastic value. The new developments which were all stopped are now building again. They di however tend to be smaller, more expensive and generally unfurnished though you can purchase furniture pacjages or even negotiate them.

Its a lovely area with loads to do and see.
