Thinking of buying in the area

We purchased on Playa Flamenca around the corner from you it is the best we are in a quad villa and gated ... we have never regretted the move 

We rented an apartment in Torrevieja for 5 months and went out with Estate Agents to lots of places and in the end chose Playa Flamenca, we moved in last January and we love it, there are a lot of expats around. I have seen the Flamingo Hills everything is within walking distance. We asked our agent to leave us at the house one day and went for a walk round, when you are in a car it can seem like everything is a long walk away when it is really only a few minutes. I would advise to look for something that is near to everything and not in it and not on a busy road or next to a bar, it is a really flat area so a 10 min stroll to everything is much nicer and quieter than it being next door. We bought just off the Saturday Market Street a few minutes away and we don't hear anything from the market . Hope this helps, all the best.

Great area,walking distance to amenities and close to countryside for rambling,cycling etc.My brother in law is a triathlete and always uses the area for training purposes for the +40's European championship events.

Playa Flamenca is a good area, as it has most if the amenities for the whole of the Orihuela Costa. i.e. The Town Hall, the Civic Centre, Local Police, the CDM Sports Centre. There are 2 great beaches here and either side are the beaches of Punta Prima and La Zenia. Flamingo Hills is a good area and is close to shops and bars in more than one direction, La Florida being just up the road for instance. You wil find cafe's/bars with live entertainment,a supermarket, hardware shop, Indian restaurant, hairdresser. La Zenia Boulevard would be about 20 minutes stroll for you. If you need to get a bus to the Medical Centre, which is in Cabo Roig or the state hospital, Torrevieja, you will find a bus stop is close by. Once you know your way around, there is everything within easy reach. Best of luck.

Hi, if your thinking of moving into flamingo hills see if its south facing as it will be cold, the houses are not, or were not, built for permanent accommodation.

However  not to say you wont be happy there, i am just saying!. by the way, we did live there for 1 year.
