Hi my husband and I currently work in education in London. I’m an early years educator and my husband works in a PRU which is basically a school for children with behaviour issues. We have a house in Playa Flamenca and would love to move out there, but I’m fully aware of how hard it is to find work! Does anyone know how hard it is to get a job in local schools? Unfortunately we don’t speak Spainish 🙈

Without a working knowledge of the language, it would be extremely difficult for you to be employed in the education system. There may be a remote possibility that the private international schools may be interested, but you have to be realistic. Would any UK schools employ basically foreign teachers/ specialists who could not speak English?

As above. Even QTS teachers struggle finding work. Opportunities come up occasionally in the International schools but without any Spanish you wouldn't be suitable.

Hi I’m the same I’m a school nurse medical practitioner BSc(hons) family planning nurse and I can’t find anything schools or otherwise

You can always try Language schools or international schools as to work in the state schools in the Valencian community, you will have to speak Spanish and Valencian. Try going on http://www.thinkspain.com
