Hi all,
I am moving over to live in the home we brought last year, hopefully December. I wondered do we have to notify post office we are there or do we just put postbox up and they will deliver our post anyway?

The Royal Mail has a redirection service for a cost, but not sure if this would include redirecting to a Spanish address, if so I would imagine there would be additional cost. Check out the Royal Mail website.

Thank you, I meant having a post box at my home in Spain as there isnt one there at the moment.

If you live on an urbanization it is likely you will have a similar arrangement to ourselves where we have mail drop boxes for each fase. All the post boxes for each particular fase will be in one place and you would have been given a key for your post box with the property keys.
We did not have to do anything mail started arriving as soon as we signed for the property especially the williams!
If in any doubt have a word with the solicitor who acted in the purchase for you.

Thank you very much for your reply, no we have not been given a key for mail. The house next door have a mail box on their wall they are Spanish. Only holiday homes have not, ours was a holiday home before we brought it but will be living there soon .
