Good morning all,

I felt i must show my feelings about how some on this Forum are quite rude to some valuable members who dedicate a lot of their time and effort answering questions and writing quite frankly fantastic posts on valuable information that benefits us all.

I am talking in particular of Jim Taylor, Pete Knight and French Martini , the information they post is priceless and not to be scoffed at.

Congratulations and thank you, please keep up the valuable posts

Agreed, valuable members take time to help answer questions and so often not even a thank you or a helpful mark given.

Totally agree, keep up the good work everyone.
Re the recent article from Jim about Brexit and visas, it was quite clearly a list of possible scenarios and I took it as a heads up. I am personally praying that commonsense prevails.

well said,i couldnt agree more,i personally know jim taylor,and am proud to have him as a friend,and if its genuine he will go way out of his way to help anyone on here.

As a daily reader of this forum I have nothing but admiration for people like Jim and French Martini etc who go out of there way to help people with there problems ,not only residents but people like myself who are hoping to join you in the near future, keep up the great work it's invaluable

On behalf of myself and other members (Pete, Nicola, Ray, Kim, etc etc - there are quite a number of us) I'd like to thank Andy for starting this topic and also everyone who has posted a reply.

It's that sort of input that makes us keep posting, and thank you again for supporting us.

I must admit that yesterday I'd considered deleting all my posts because of the totally negative comments of the thankfully few people who prefer to bury their heads in the sand, apart from the odd times they poke their heads up to criticise people.

When we were considering buying a property in Catral and moving out here permanently, I asked for advice on this forum.

Jim Taylor and some other helpful and knowledgeable people gave their advice which prompted us to investigate the pros and cons of such a move.

We were cautioned about the illegal villas in Catral and getting the right solicitor etc

Jim also explained the taxation system in easy to understand language.

We have decided not to move here permanently and realise that it would have been the wrong decision for us.

Due to all of the above we are extremely grateful to all the people who helped us and why people feel they need to be rude or disrespectful on here is beyond our comprehension!
