Hard to identify what might be "authentic Spanish" here and everywhere. There are plenty anyway. Look around and mind the empty ones, the more crowded the better (around 2 pm - don't come before 1 pm). When getting offered or choosing anything not in the menu ask for the price first to avoid surprises. The "Nautilus" at Punta Prima is not bad, good food affordable prices and a unbeatable scenery. Mind "El Capitan" on your way to Torrevieja.

Thank you we often walk to Punta Prima so will pop in for a late lunch.

Hi

"Spanish" restaurants are not so common around Playa Flamenca. In addition to the Nautilus, try https://www.elpatioandaluz.net/ which is next to McDonalds in Punta Prima.

At Punta Prima, you also have the option of catching a local bus into Torrevieja - where there are far more Spanish restaurants.

Cheers

It's this bus from the Boulevard https://costazul.net/lineas-urbanas/c-c-la-zenia-boulevard-c-de-salud-aguamarina/ but note that it doesn't run late at night, or weekends (except July and August).

It's one of the two mini buses - the other one goes to Torrevieja Hospital.

But it's hard to think of VM Plaza as authentically Spanish!

If you just want a good restaurant around Playa Flamenca, there's lots of them - it just depends what you want!

I'm very much enjoying my stay in Spain - been here just one week short of ten years!😁

Cheers
