How does that go down? Might wait till I’m next in Madrid and ask the Q at  NIKON

Seems the days of Camera repairers are doomed with the advent of The Mobile Phone and Pads&Pods etc.

Going to their shop next week in Elche though my Nikon has been discontinued!

After charging battery in camera and switching on, message I am getting in viewer is Lens error! I’m guessing that’s a pretty major error?

Worth pursuing I wonder? It’s a Coolpix 5700 model.

Had it repaired for minor fault in UK before I came to Spain, All was well.

Boxed it up but when I went to use it for the 1st time last week, hey presto

Guys there.As you say though price of repair might not be cost effective.

Shame cos was a nifty little camera but now sadly O O D!
