I recently employed someone I thought was a registered builder but he turned out to be a third rate odd job man.
He overcharges and gives no receipts and then doesn't finish the job.
I've had to employ Spanish professionals to put right his unfinished work.
His name is Mathew Gill and if I were you I'd avoid him like the plague.

Costa Cruiser, I'm sorry to hear you have had a bad experience from using the services of the person you have named , but am pleased to hear the work has now been completed to your satisfaction, albeit by another person(s), and presumably at additional cost to you .
Thanks for alerting others.
It would be helpful if the original builder could post a reply and explain, or others who have used his services could also comment, bad or good, on their own experiences of his workmanship.

Sorry to hear of your experience of which I too have had by another "workman" who charged me 3000€ for a solarium retile in 2016 leaving me with that many leaks my ceiling collapsed after he kept putting off repairing. I had to repay again to get it done properly. I still have all the photos as i,m still aggrieved over it. His name was Ged Dobbs, or Gerard Dobson. He used to advertise on this forum but was removed. He wasnt legal then, dont expect he is now, cash in hand, no receipts with NIF on. I believe he still works though. He lives in San Bartolome so be aware, he was a rogue to me. I would welcome a Named and Shamed facility on this forum to keep all our members safe.
