I currently have my Electric with Iberdrola

Was thinking of maybe changing tariff when I am over at end of week has anyone else changed to Night & Day and did you notice much difference in bills?

Is the closest office La Zenia?

Thanks

Sharon

Hi Sharon I changed over in nov and my bills have reduced from approx 55-60 euros per month to roughly 21 Euro per month. I leave fridge on all the time and that allows for us using air conditioning heating for 3 weeks in January

Hope this helps

We have noticed a big reduction in our bills. We make sure that, as much as possible, we do everything that consumes electricity in the low rate period. (22.00 to 12.00 winter, 23.00 to 13.00 summer). Our water heater is only timed to fire up during these periods, but we have plenty of hot water during the rest of the day. The swimming pool pump only runs at low rate and we do our dishwashing, washing, ironing etc etc in the morning.

Iberdrola's dual-tariff is called Plan Noche.

Geoff.

Hi

Many thanks for the information

Is the Standing charge more expensive than being on standard Tariff

I use my Apartment as a Holiday home for myself and family so would be good to make savings if possible

What would I need to take into the offices with me as I am back in Spain on Friday, is the offices in La Zenia?

Thanks

Sharon

Sharon I reduced the max kilowatts also from 5.5 to 3.5. You are charged daily rate based on maximum wattage so that made a big difference-I have a two bedrooms apt and have been able to run oven, lights, tv,washing machine and one air conditioning unit on eating without electric tripping. Have a look at thread on Playa Flamenca forum-this helped me make up my mind and has saved me a fortune x

I don't know what the standing charge is for the standard rate tariff, but I'm uploading a photo of what they charge for their 'Plan Noche', which is what I'm on. Have a look and compare it with the charge on your latest bill.

Take your existing bill and proof of identity (passport probably best) into an Iberdrola office. According to their website, they have two offices in Torrevieja at Calle Ramun Gallud 12 (open 8.30 to 1800) and at Calle Concordia 5 (open 8.30 to 16.30 Mon - Thurs, 13.00 Friday).

Thanks for this information, I didn’t know about this plan uptil now. I logged on in my account with Iberdrola and took care of it right away. No need to go into any office. Quick and easy.
